He was also a part of the brainstorming team at the TFSA (Toronto Financial Services Alliance) under the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development & Trade to make Toronto a center of excellence in Islamic Finance.

Currently, he is a liaison at the Islamic Finance Advisory Board where he is responsible for product re-structuring, training, and advocacy. In his career, he has also worked with two of the “Big Four” Canadian banks, CIBC, and TD as an Interest Relief Analyst and a Mortgage Underwriter, respectively. He has also successfully developed various Shariah-compliant mortgage, leasing, and investment instruments over the last ten years.
